What Happens If A Product Is Recalled?
Product recall is usually done when there is any defect that is found in the product. The product is recalled in two conditions. The first one is when the product is recalled voluntarily by the company if they found any part of it is defective and it would cause any danger to the people. The second type of recall is done when the government or court orders the product to be recalled from the market. This is done on compulsion from the government and this is because the government would have found some fault in the item manufacturing of the product. When a product is recalled the company offers facilities for fixing the problem that they found in the product. The fixing of the problem is done without any cost to the existing customers. So when a product is recalled no need to worry about the cost of fixing it since it would be solved by the production company itself.

When a consumable good is recalled it is better to stop using it since it would be recalled only if the product has some chemicals which are not fit for consuming. In such cases the product should never be bought from the market. The product recall is done only when the standards of the product do not meet the standard prescribed by the government and in such cases it is very risky to use the recalled products. In case of recalled consumable process, it is advised not to buy and in the non-consumable type the problem is fixed usually by the company themselves.
